Check Pain Reliever Ingredients

Use OTC pain medicines safely

Sometimes there’s too much to remember. But forgetting to check your medicine ingredients could matter to your health.

The same active ingredients (acetaminophen and NSAIDs) are found in hundreds of commonly used OTC and prescription medicines. And if you take more than one medicine with the same kind of active ingredient at a time, it can increase your chance of harmful side effects. Nobody can remember what’s in hundreds of medicines. Check every label and take ONLY 1 medicine that contains the same kind of active ingredient at a time.
